Mountaineering Designs established in 1972, still remains a small family enterprise offering a unique, efficient, professional service to the discerning outdoor enthusiast, who is looking for quality of product, combined with value for money.
In the last 30+ years since Mountaineering Designs entered the market, our range of products and services have grown in response to the demanding requirements of our customers.
Our range of products are used by individuals and expeditions all over the world and many customers return year on year to improve/upgrade.
Why we are different?
We are not perceived by our colleagues in the industry as competition, but as an essential service that they can recommend with confidence to interested enthusiasts.
Regeneration of down equipment requires specialized expertise and understanding. Couple our extensive knowledge and field experience in the practical use of down equipment, with the need to recycle natural elements, such as feathers/down results in a service second to none.
Costs to the customer are kept down in a variety of ways - we do not sell in shops, or use 'plastic' cards for payment, we even recycle cardboard boxes for dispatch by post.
